All orders as of 1 July 2000 are subject to a 10% Goods and Services Tax.

In June 1999 the Federal Parliament approved the introduction of a Goods and Services Tax (GST) as part of a major reform of the Australian tax system. It is a broad-based indirect tax on private consumption.
